Island

Koh Talabeng

Sheer limestone cliffs and sea caves you can paddle into, just off the east coast.

Koh Talabeng is a limestone island a short run from Lanta’s east coast, ringed by cliffs that drop straight into the water and cut through with sea caves.

At the right tide a longtail can take you into the larger caves. Swifts nest in the roofs and the acoustics inside are extraordinary.

It usually pairs with the mangrove trip, weather and tide allowing.
